Our Story

The Social Economy Group works to improve the strategic clarity, governance, and organisational health of social purpose organisations.  Over nine years, we have brought best practice and contemporary thinking to the Social Economy; NGOs, non-profits, and charities.

All of our consulting team have themselves worked as C-suite executives, directors or senior leaders in non-profit organisations. We bring experience in leadership, delivery, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving, in like-roles and like-organisations.

How we work

We measure our success by the change our clients achieve. We focus on what is of greatest value to you, and your stakeholders. We work to help you deliver greater impact.

Our work and recommendations are informed by data and current insights.  We listen.  We challenge assumptions.  We deliver practical solutions.

We hold ourselves accountable to three key organisational values:

  • Impact

  • Learning

  • Honesty

As a for-purpose consultancy, we assess our own impact against a framework that considers our employees and associates, our community, our environment, our suppliers and customers, our decision-making processes and accountability.
